Based in Fife, Electron Garage is a group of individuals with a passion for cars, driving, and helping create a cleaner environment. Electron Garage has used this passion to develop big ideas on converting existing vehicle stock to full electric to meet with current and future legislation.
It provides a much-needed kickstart to the EV conversion market, bringing viable solutions to its customers vehicles and building a platform to enable individuals to build their own projects.
Electron Garage love classic cars in all their forms, but sadly a lot of classic cars are very unreliable which means they spend a lot of time stored away.
Converting classic cars to EVs can give the car improved performance, increased reliability and make them more sustainable.
Electron Garage have identified vehicles operating in Scottish cities where Low Emission Zones will be introduced. Projects are currently underway to convert black cabs and specially adapted minibuses for community transport.
It has had interest from one the biggest fleet operators of taxis outside London, as well as Community Transport Organisations, and it hopes to expand its Glenrothes facility to meet with demand.
