Based in Scotland, Caigan Vehicle Technologies was founded in 2020 with a focus on producing zero-emission commercial vehicle conversions, primarily using hydrogen fuel cell technology.
It designs and develops solutions which allow the conversion of existing vehicle fleets such as those of local authorities, logistics and first responders, to zero emissions vehicles.
This technology means that perfectly good vehicles can be transformed into fuel cell powertrains, producing a zero emissions vehicle without the need to trade it in.
In 2021 Caigan Vehicle Technologies was accepted onto the Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc accelerator programme. This programme supercharges environmentally conscious start-ups.
In the future it is planning to design and build its own vehicles to help satisfy the increasing demand for zero emissions solutions.
